Ralph's Pro Shop is owned and  operated by Ralph and Carrie Gorsuch.  We are fortunate to have Pete Williams working with us, perhaps the best ball plug and repair man I have ever known.
This is a FULL time business for us.  We are devoted to our customers and  love to see and hear about their accomplishments. Ralph and Carrie are both certified pro shop operators, having completed the HOTS (Hands on Training Seminar) program on bowling ball fitting, drilling, maintenance, and repair. Ralph has also completed the advanced pro shop training program. We continue our education to stay up to date on the current drilling techniques and technical information in order to serve you to the best of our ablility. 

We are located inside Gate City Lanes, a spacious 52 lane bowling center, featuring a fantastic arcade room, party rooms, meeting rooms, pool tables, and a great snack bar.

Ralph's Pro Shop stocks merchandise from all the major manufacturers and participates in the following pro shop programs: Ebonite Striking Effects, Hammer's Hammer Head, Brunswick Pro Source, Columbia Elite, Track Fast Track, Storm VIP.  We have recently added Motiv and DV8 to our stock.

We use the finest drilling equipment available to ensure a great fit each and every time.  The importance of ball maintenance is also a priority with us.  We offer the finest resurfacing machine (to maintain your bowling ball's surface), ball Reviver and Ebonite's Hook Again system (used to pull the oil out of your bowling ball), all of this to keep your equipment performing at its peak.  Remember, it's important to match your bowling ball's surface to the lane conditions and your style--confused?-- WE CAN HELP!

About Ralph:
Although I have done many things in my life, bowling has always been a part of it.  Starting with a Bowling Lanes Management Degree from Vincennes University  and being the captain of  our collegiate bowling team.  I  ran a bowling center for a few years during which Carrie and I ran the youth bowling program.  During this time I also helped organize the High School Bowling conference in our area, and coached the local boys and girls bowling teams.

I belong to IBPSIA and USA Coaches Association.  I continue to attend  many seminars and classes on ball drilling techniques and coaching techniques, staying in tune with the most up to date information available.  I am a certified Team USA Silver Level Bowling Coach and offer lessons by appointment.  Coaching and ball drilling go hand in hand as we try to watch bowlers roll a few shots before drilling new equipment.  And, believe it or not, it's not always the ball.  Sometimes, you just need a lesson or two to improve your game.
